Privacy Policy

LucidMatch ("LucidMatch", "we", "us") helps you improve your dating profile. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We critique the profile, never the person, and we never score your appearance or worth.

Information we collect

Account. Your email address when you sign in.
Profile content you provide. Photos you upload, your bio and prompt answers, your dating intent, target traits, and authenticity anchors.
Coaching activity. The analyses, plans, and weekly check-ins you create.
Usage analytics. Privacy-first product events (for example, that an analysis ran). These are sanitized and never include your photos, bio, prompt text, or analysis content.

How we use your information

To generate your photo read, profile blueprint, studio plan, and text pack.
To provide and improve the service and keep it secure.
To process subscription payments and manage your plan.

How your data is shared

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the providers that run LucidMatch:

Supabase for authentication, database, and private photo storage.
our AI provider (currently Google Gemini) processes your photos and profile text to produce the AI coaching. Content is sent only to generate your results.
Stripe processes subscription payments. We do not store card details.
PostHog for sanitized product analytics that exclude your photos and profile content.

Storage and security

Photos are kept in private storage and are accessible only to your account. Access is scoped per user. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Your choices and rights

Delete your data. In Settings, "Delete my data" removes your profile, photos, analyses, plans, check-ins, and analytics events.
Access, correct, or export your data by contacting us.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your data or account, we remove your profile content; limited records may be retained where required for legal, billing, or security purposes.

Children

LucidMatch is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
